Quality Alternatives provides management to review the design and specifications for commissionability, coordinate the trades and meetings and provide commissioning schedules, installation inspections and reports. We take the headache out of coordinating the trades and construction activities to integrate the complex and highly fragmented sub trades to achieve commissioning on time to avoid project over runs.

TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION:

Project Data Books are the complete manuals for a building incorporating the design information, Operating and Maintenance Manuals, and important commissioning information to maintain consistent and reliable performance. O & M's are a requirement for any new building or building undergoing extension or modification. Our practice is to include detailed descriptions of each system, equipment schedules, recommended spare parts, commissioning data, operating and maintenance instructions.

Tenant Information Books are the condensed manuals aimed at the owners of domestic properties and apartments with little or no technical knowledge but need the critical mechanical and automatic control system information organized into one user-friendly location with layman descriptions and location maps.

HVAC COMMISSIONING AND TESTING:

We provide static (equipment performance without people active use) and dynamic testing (system performance under expected personnel operating use) for the Building Systems.

BUILDING SURVEY SERVICES:

Quality Alternatives has the experienced staff to perform independent assessment of both the mechanical and control system installations. By checking the performance of existing installations, including temperature, humidity and air flow direction and quality we prove whether they are operating efficiently and conforming within the design specifications.
